Nightshade

Nightshade is known as at least two distinct cannabis strains. In the United States, it is identified as a heavy indica strain from Connected Cannabis Co., with an earthy, sweet, and gassy profile, although its lineage is not publicly disclosed. In Europe, Nightshade refers to an indica strain bred by Barney's Farm, created through a cross of Kashmir and Nepalese landrace strains. This version contains approximately 21% THC and 1% CBG. Users report effects including sleepiness, arousal, and euphoria. Medically, Nightshade is selected for symptoms like anxiety, bipolar disorder, stress, and depression. The strain carries flavors such as ammonia, diesel, and mint in the U.S. version, while the European version features tree fruit, diesel, and plum notes. Key terpenes include limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool in the U.S. variant, with myrcene dominant in the European version. Common negative effects are dry mouth, dizziness, and paranoia.
